Following the earthquake, Vekon swiftly mobilized its production resources to respond to the urgent needs in the affected region. In Hatay, a field hospital composed of 96 combined modules was efficiently completed in February. To address housing demands, 6,500 living containers were dispatched for container city projects in Turkey’s provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, and Kahramanmaraş, as well as for personnel accommodations in İskenderun. In addition to the continuous production of living containers, Vekon contributed to the regions hit by the earthquake by manufacturing 1,000 prefabricated living units in Hatay and Malatya using an advanced prefabricated panel system. Further, the company employed a hybrid building system, incorporating lightweight steel and structural steel, to successfully construct an 8,000 squaremeter part of a hospital in Hatay, completing the project promptly.
