Vefa Group has dedicated its efforts to providing shelter for victims in the aftermath of the significant earthquake that occurred in Turkey on February 6.
Since the onset of the earthquake, our relentless commitment has led to the production and transportation of nearly 3,000 living containers for various non-governmental organizations and private companies. Boosting our production capacity in Turkey’s provinces of Istanbul and Bilecik, we are currently manufacturing 100 living containers per day. With this ongoing effort, we anticipate delivering a total of 6,000 living containers to the different region affected from the eartquake within six weeks, as per our existing contracts.
Beyond container production, we are also developing 1,000 living spaces with prefabricated panel systems designed for earthquake zones.
Furthermore, utilizing the lightweight steel structure system, we are actively engaged in the construction of a hospital. The production, transportation and assembly of the relevant section are set to be completed by the end of April.
